The grand finale of Miss Earth Nigeria 2019 held over the weekend saw the emergence of Modupe Susan Garland crowned the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Earth Nigeria 2018 Maristella Okpala at the Mega 1 event place, Lekki, lagos. She beat other 15 beauties to win the prestigious tittle and earned the right to represent Nigeria at Miss Earth 2019 coming up next October in Philippine .
The runners-up, Namure Ojioze, Gwen Ifeanyieze, and Doris Akueze were crowned Miss Earth Nigeria Air, Water, and Fire, respectively.
The finale night was a huge success as it witnessed various exemplary performances and glamour all around and also saw in attendance popular pageant title holders;Reigning Mr Nigeria Nelson Enwerem, Most beautiful girl in Nigeria 2018 Anita Ukah, Ex MBGN lIhezue Ugochi Mitchel, Miss Nigeria 2018 Aaron Leilani Chidinma, ex Miss Grand Nigeria Princess Agunbiade all gracing the event in style.

The winner, Susan Modupe Garland is 21 years of age and hails from Lagos state in Nigeria. She is an Environmental Biology student and fashion model. She will be hoping to become the first Nigerian delegate to win the international crown. Nigeria is yet to win Miss Earth International title. The country placed two times in the Top 16 in 2006 and 2007 with Stacey Garvey and Uko Ezinne.
The Miss Earth Nigeria pageant, headed by Nollywood actress, events manager, and former beauty queen, Ibinabo Fiberesima, debuted in 2004.
