Nigerian beauty Queen, Isabella Okafor  donates equipments to Federal medical Centre Owerri

Queen Isabella Okafor Initiative in partnership with Gozie Abana foundation has donated an Electrical Suctioning Machine to the Emergency Paediatric Unit (E.P.U) of the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri Imo State in commemoration of the Valentine’s Day celebration on the 18th of February, 2022.

The two non-governmental organizations have been at the forefront of the campaign for alleviating poverty and providing basic needs for vulnerable Children, Aged Citizens, widows, orphans and disadvantaged in Nigeria.

The recent outreach at the Medical Centre in Owerri was instigated to provide one of the major instruments needed in the children’s health care unit.

The Philanthropic Beauty Queen, Isabella Okafor who had just concluded with the door-to-door Christmas Outreach, an initiative that caters for the Aged citizens and widows in representation of Gozie Abana Foundation while presenting the Machine, expressed how happy they were to make an impact in the medical centre, citing that this is about the 4th time she’s visiting the Centre but this time feels special.

“I feel overly excited carrying out this project here. It’s a season of love and I thought it’s wise to share love to the sick children and bring succor to them”, the Ada Imo state pageant winner, said

“The machine was provided to aid the nurses working in the children’s health care unit. We will check back to ensure progress and provide other assistance, as God permits.”, she added.

The Federal Medical Centre Management represented by Dr Isiguzo and the Head of Nursing, Mrs. Elsie Njemanze appreciated the thought and kind gesture extended to the medical Centre while calling on the general public to key into similar initiatives to help create a better system for all.
