Can we meet you?
My name is Faith Inekhia Andrew Unuigbokhai, born May 29th 1999, fifth child and fourth daughter in the family of five. I love traveling, playing video games, dancing and trying out new things. I’m very out spoken and reserved at the same time. I’m currently working on my own business; Nek’s Hub and I’m currently the Face of Kimber Africa 2019 and Brand Ambassador for HKE magazine.
Tell us about your background.
Well, I grew up in the south, Akoko Edo, Edo State where I had my Primary and Secondary Education. My dad is a Painter and my mum a Business woman. I hail from Erhurun uneme in Akoko Edo, Edo State
How did modeling start for you?
I started modeling in 2008 in my local church; New Apostolic church and later on contested in my village where I came second place as Miss Uneme 2012/13. I was always the shy type and my sisters and parents and also my determination made me break through from that shell. From there, I got admitted in to the higher institution and I contested for the face of Applied Sciences 2013/14 and won as the “Miss Photogenic Title”. Some of my major achievements/awards include; Miss Afenmai 2016/17, Miss GTCr8t Auchi 2017/18, Miss Prestigious Nigeria 2018/19, where I was awarded the Most Outstanding Beauty Queen of the Year.
Who is your role model?
My Role model is Pastor Omo Umoru of the City of Fire Ministry and Current Papa of NCCF Abuja chapter. He encourages me and teaches me how to stay focused and determined. How to overcome fear and replace it with faith and see everything from a brighter side
What is the role of a woman in nation building?
First, Women are the fruit bearer of Great born leaders. A woman is a home builder and the pillar and bed rock of marriage; like the saying goes, “Behind every successful man there’s a blessed woman”. Women help in building a man spiritually, physically, mentally and otherwise to greatness.
Tell us about your title and How did you feel when you won the crown?
Face of Kimber Africa is an online brand owned by Queen Kimberly Yetunde Savage; Face of Nigeria World 2016/17. The maiden edition was done in 2018, with Queen Chichi Fransisca as our Queen mother. I was overwhelmed with joy and happiness when I was announced the winner of Face of Kimber Africa 2019 . Among 15 contestants, grace found me and brought me out as the winner. It was indeed a dream come true for me. Being Face of Kimber Africa, gives me a slot to contest for Face of Nigeria World, Brand ambassador for HKE magazine, a business grant, media tour and lots of amazing packages. It’s the start of something new in my life.
Tell us about your ambition in life and your pet projects.
I’ve always had a passion towards women right in the country. Helping them fight against domestic violence and also helping women that are suffering from diseases known as obstetrics fistula which is caused by delayed labor. I will be creating an NGO that will help the process, and also creating an awareness on domestic violence and child support, motivational talks that will help them stay away from depression and suicide attempts.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Wow. I see myself as a big time model and an influential business woman having multi million business franchises in different areas. Also, owning an NGO strictly for the women and right of a girl child in the nation. By the grace of God also happily married with a lovely family.
What is fashion to you?
Fashion to me is what you wear that makes you comfortable. I love it simple and classy. I wear anything in as much as I’m comfortable in it. Just be unique in your own way.
What is your advice(s) for aspiring models?
My advice to aspiring models, never look down on yourself or anyone because that’s the first trait of failure. Don’t see anyone as a competition because I believe life itself is a competition for us all to win. Always stay focused and determined and allow God to lead you on. Don’t be in a haste to be successful. Allow God do his thing at his own time. Thank you!
